About:

The briefing will last approximately one hour, and there will be ample time during and after the briefing for questions/answers and information exchange with NPS/CHDS staff.

NPS/CHDS has been the nation’s premier provider of Homeland Security graduate and executive level education since 2002. They have pioneered the development and delivery of Homeland Security education programs for governors, mayors, and mid to senior level homeland security leaders from across the country representing a wide spectrum of disciplines in local, tribal, state, territorial and federal government, the private sector and military. CHDS programs, which include executive education and master’s degree programs, focus on strategy, policy, and developing critical thinking and leadership skills for participants. Additionally, these educational programs are fully sponsored by the U.S. Department of Homeland Security’s Federal Emergency Management Agent (FEMA), so there is no cost to attend except for the participant’s time away from the agency.

Chiefs, sheriffs, department directors, managers, training officers along with all interested public and private sector upper to mid-level officials are strongly encouraged to attend the briefing. This is a unique opportunity for your organization to participate in some of the nation’s most highly regarded Homeland Security education programs. Please forward this invitation to other area agency heads and public safety and public service leaders who you think may be interested in these programs and resources.
