Starting at the beginning of 2016, the Houston UASI Regional Planners Work Group began developing and conducting peer planning workshops (PPWs) designed to help jurisdictions, agencies, and organizations develop or improve plans and planning efforts. Topics for previous workshops were determined based on a survey conducted in January 2016.

The Planners Work Group is conducting a refresh of its PPW topic survey. The results of this survey will help inform the topics for the Peer Planning Workshops through the end of 2018. Please take a moment to complete the survey by close of business August 23.

Note: while the survey was developed to be completed by local jurisdictions with obligations to develop and update emergency management plans and annexes in accordance with state requirements, nongovernmental entities are still encouraged to complete the survey answering questions as applicable to their organizations.

If you have any questions, don’t hesitate to reach out. Thanks!
