Houston UASI Functional Exercise scheduled for May 19 2011

Please save the dates of May 18 & 19 for the first Houston UASI Region – EPIP Working Group JIC Functional Exercise.  

As part of the process of developing and implementing an Emergency Public Information Plan (EPIP) for the Houston UASI Region, a Functional Exercise will be conducted on May 19, 2011.  The purpose of this exercise will be to test the JIC functionality outlined in the EPIP in a simulated large-scale response.

Training is being offered on May 18, prior to the exercise on May 19. Both the training and the exercise will be at TranStar.

Training on the 18th consists of 4 separate modules, described below.  Participants can choose one or more training modules to attend.  JIC Section assignment for the exercise will be determined by which module(s) individuals attend.
