Please see the new guidance (IB 426) rescinding Information Bulletins 407 and 407a (implementation of the Executive Order 13688, which created guidance on prohibited and controlled equipment).

Information Bulletin (IB) 426 Guidance to Recipients and Subrecipients of FEMA preparedness grants regarding the implementation of Executive Order 13809 Restoring State, Tribal, and Local Law Enforcement’s Access to Life-Saving Equipment and Resources

There is specific guidance in this new Information Bulletin describing what is still prohibited and what still requires special permission. Please read the IB thoroughly, and let me know if you have any questions by November 13. I’ll like to send all of our questions up collectively so we can all get clarity on the responses.
