WebEOC PAR process availability

In addition to the large-group sessions on Monday, Tuesday, and Friday, the WebEOC PAR process will involve small-group meetings on Wednesday and Thursday on specific topics. For each topic area, several 45-minute sessions will be available. The topic areas available are:

  • Wednesday 27 January, Morning: Event Reporting
    • Describe the event reporting process
      • This process facilitates granular situation awareness
      • Identify common components of the process (activity log, significant events, etc.)
      • Present/discuss common variations in the event reporting workflow
    • Identify regional workflow preferences, including business rules, notification, etc.
    • Identify regional requirements related to content / form fields
  • Wednesday 27 January, Afternoon: Request Management
    • Describe the request management process
      • This process facilitates requests for information, action, and tangible resources
      • Present/discuss common variations to the request management workflow
    • Identify regional workflow preferences, including business rules, notification, etc.
    • Identify regional requirements related to content / form fields
  • Thursday 28 January, Morning: Situation Reporting
    • Describe the situation reporting process
      • This process facilitates aggregate situation awareness
      • Present/discuss common variations to the situation reporting workflow
    • Identify regional workflow preferences, including business rules, methods for capturing stakeholder input, etc.
    • Identify regional requirements related to content / form fields
  • Thursday 28 January, Afternoon: Specialized Processes
    • Define specialized processes
      • Boards/processes that are most beneficial in specific situations / hazard events (i.e. shelter board)
      • Boards/processes that are most interesting to a portion of the WebEOC end-user community.  Data sensitivity may also restrict user access (i.e. law enforcement boards/processes)
    • Create a list of desired specialized boards/processes
    • Identify requirements and workflow preferences for the highest priority specialized processes.

To register for sessions, please send your availability via email to ian.feldman@houstontx.gov. This will help ensure that no one session is over-loaded with participants. The survey previously mentioned in regional emails has been closed; any new registrations should be done via email.
