Whole Community: Planning Better Together Workshop

Apologies if you receive this more than once. We are trying to reach as many people as possible.

Good Afternoon-

The Regional Access & Functional Needs Planning Group is hosting a workshop, “Whole Community: Planning Better Together,” on September 19, 2017, from 9am-3pm, at Transtar (6922 Katy Road, Houston, TX 77024). The goal of this workshop is to help jurisdictions and partner agencies use whole community considerations in their emergency management planning. The workshop will feature speakers, a panel, and an exercise to facilitate communication between emergency managers and people in the community with access and functional needs.

Please see the 2017 AFN Workshop Save the Date flyer for more information and share with anyone who may be interested, including community organizations, disability advocates, and those who provide services to people with disabilities.
