RCC:
You are receiving this email as a RCC Voting Member.
At the November Regional Collaboration Committee Meeting (11/8) there will be one action item requiring voting on the agenda:
- Jetty license for Securing the Cities
A write up on the action item is below. The recommended action is Approval.
The Securing the Cities (STC) program respectfully requests use of a regional Jetty license for both internal collaboration and public-facing information. This program serves all counties in the Houston UASI region (plus the Cities of Pasadena and Houston) with creating a counter-terrorism program designed to thwart a terror incident involving radiological or nuclear material. The public-facing page will contain general information about the STC program, radiation safety, and related counter-terror initiatives, like See Something, Say Something and Make the Call. The public-facing site can also serve as a PR tool and to provide information to the public about what factors can result in a radiation alarm as well as the program’s goals.
If you will NOT be able to attend, please email Jeff Braun (jeff.braun@fortbendcountytx.gov) and Kristina Francis (Kristina.francis@fortbendcountytx.gov) with name of the person who will be proxy voting on your behalf.
Thank You,
Kristina Francis
