Regional Collaboration Committee

Purpose

The purpose of the Regional Collaboration Committee is to coordinate the planning efforts which impact multiple jurisdictions throughout the Houston Urban Area. The Committee is also tasked with coordinating the implementation of several technological initiatives throughout the region including WebEOC, Jetty, and Office 365. The Committee has formed multiple Work Groups to facilitate the completion of its stated mission: Disabilities, Access, and Functional Needs (in conjunction with the Community Preparedness Committee); Emergency Public Information and Warning; GIS; Planners; Recovery; Mobile Command Unit; Technology; Training & Exercise; and WebEOC.
