- Organizational Placement of Technology and GIS in an EOC
With the rise of technology in general and GIS in particular in emergency management, is it time to reevaluate the placement of those positions in our EOC and EM organizational structures? The National Alliance for Public Safety GIS Foundation has a survey out to jurisdictions to explore this issue, and we felt it was worth discussing as a group as well. The survey may be used to inform input to FEMA on future NIMS updates, and can be found at https://survey123.arcgis.com/share/d4b16c2fe66d4689b6141110c4db2169 (deadline 3 March 2020).

7. Technology Proposals
- The Technology Work group reserves time each meeting for interested parties to present a gap that they feel a new regional technology can fill. The Technology Work Group may then choose to investigate solutions that bridge that gap, so that funding recommendations can be made to the Regional Collaboration Committee.
