Reminder: Training Opportunity: Community Planning for Economic Recovery

Good Afternoon!

The Harris County Office of Homeland Security and Emergency Management is hosting MGT 462-Community Planning for Economic Recovery  on September 3, 2019 from 9:00pm-5:00pm.  The course will be held in Room 120 A&B at Houston Transtar, 6922 Katy Road, Houston, 77024.

This course will guide decision makers to incorporate community planning for economic resilience and recovery from natural disasters. The curriculum includes practical tools to develop stronger partnerships between the public and private sectors, evaluate community hazard assessments through the lens of economic recovery, provide resources for public and private sector partners to use in a post-disaster environment, and planning templates for articulating these actions at the community level.
