Training Opportunity: G-191 ICS/EOC Interface

Good Morning,

The Houston Fire Department is hosting a a G-191 ICS/EOC Interface. The goal of the course is to provide state and local emergency management officials with the knowledge and skills they need to operate an Emergency Operating Center (EOC) and interface it with an Incident Command System (ICS) field operation. The course provides an opportunity for participants to begin developing an ICS/EOC interface for their community. The course reviews ICS and EOC responsibilities and functions and depends heavily on exercise and group discussions to formulate the interface. This course is also one of the requirements in FEMA’s Advanced Professional Series (APS).

Location: Houston Fire Department,  Val Jahnke Training Facility, 8030 Braniff St., Houston, Texas 77061 (east side of campus Room 115)

Dates: July 9th or 10th, 0800-1700, doors will open at 0730
