Course Description
T-197 Emergency Planning for People with Access and Functional Needs
This 2 day course is intended to provide those with responsibilities for providing emergency planning or care of seniors, people with disabilities, access and functional needs with the skills and knowledge they will need to prepare for, respond to, and recover from emergency situations.
Course Objectives:
Identify capabilities and limitations of access and functional needs networks
- Describe the access and functional needs considerations in all phases of comprehensive emergency planning
- Identify the relationship between access and functional needs planning and the community Emergency Operations Plan
