Training Opportunity: G-191 Incident Command System – Emergency Operations Center Interface

Good Afternoon,

The Harris County Office of Homeland Security and Emergency Management is hosting G-191 EOC-ICS Interface on May 3, 2019 from 8:00pm-4:30pm.  The course will be held in Room 120B at Houston Transtar, 6922 Katy Road, Houston, 77024.

The goal of the course is to provide state and local emergency management officials with the knowledge and skills they need to operate an Emergency Operations Center (EOC) and interface it with an Incident Command System (ICS) field operation. The course provides an opportunity for participants to begin developing an ICS/EOC interface for their community. The course reviews ICS and EOC responsibilities and functions and depends heavily on exercise and group discussions to formulate the interface.

This course is part of the Advance Professional Series (APS) requirement for those pursuing that certificate.
