The schedule for the remaining THIRA meetings has been released, and there are three meetings that relate to topics covered by the Health and Medical Committee. As a reminder, all voting members must attend at least one THIRA meeting, and each jurisdiction/agency requesting FY21 UASI or SHSP funds must attend at least one THIRA meeting. If you are unable to attend yourself, you can send a proxy but it must be someone from your agency.

The three meetings that apply to HMC are:

• Health and Social Service, Friday 6 November 2020, 9:00 am – 11:00 am
• Public Health, Healthcare, and Emergency Medical Services, Tuesday 10 November 2020, 1:00 pm – 3:00 pm
• Fatality Management Services, Thursday 19 November 2020, 1:00 pm – 3:00 pm

The full November schedule can be viewed online (PDF). There will be no additional THIRA meetings beyond the five for November (shown on the PDF), so if you are required to attend and have not yet attended any THIRA meetings, please select at least one of these to participate in (we prefer your expertise on the ones related to HMC, but any of them will suffice to meet the requirement set by the EC and RHSCC).

In addition, representatives of local health departments may be required by other grants to participate in the THIRA process conducted by a COG or Urban Area. This is that process, so please feel free to share with relevant parties.
